Your questions. Our answers

What you need to know before getting started

What do you help with?
We handle almost everything to do with property, inheritance, banking, tax and real estate, buying and selling. Since 2000, we have looked after cases across India, whether that means going to court or settling privately.
Do I have to go to India?
In short, no. We are an end to end cross-border advisory and litigation practice, designed so that you can stay home. We do the groundwork, get the documents and file the paperwork. On the rare occasion a court asks to see you in person, we always try to arrange a video appearance first.
How long will it take?
It depends on what you need. Simpler tasks like checking a property title or recovering funds usually take six to nine months. Court cases can take longer, and their timelines are set by the courts, not by us. We do a great deal of work upfront to keep things moving as quickly as possible.
How much do you charge?
We use fixed prices to avoid surprises. Once we have looked at your documents and understood the work involved, we give you a clear, upfront fee. You will never pay an hourly rate or face hidden costs.
How is the fixed fee worked out?
We look at the documents, the type of matter and the work it genuinely involves, then quote a single fee for that scope. If a matter later becomes contested or its scope grows, we agree any change with you in writing before doing the additional work. You are never billed by surprise.
Where are your offices?
Our head office is in London, and we have offices in the UK, Canada and the United States. In India, our own legal and execution teams work across the country, with by-appointment meeting locations in New Delhi, Surat and Chandigarh. Wherever you live, you can speak to us by video or phone.
Who actually does my legal work in India?
Your Indian legal work is carried out by qualified, India-admitted advocates and legal teams who work as our associate practice on the ground. You deal with one accountable team from first conversation to resolution.
How do I stay updated?
As a client, you receive an update every two weeks, a dedicated point of contact, and access to your own private dashboard where every step of your case is documented. We even have a communication promise.
What if my documents are missing or outdated?
It is a very common issue. We can trace and obtain certified copies of almost any document in India, including revenue records and municipal files, so missing paperwork is never a reason to wait.
What if someone has illegally taken over my property?
We move quickly to protect your rights. Our teams on the ground handle both the legal filings and the practical steps needed to stop encroachers and work to recover your property.
Can you take over a case that has already started?
Yes. Many clients come to us when they feel their current team is not moving fast enough. We review your file, suggest a new strategy, and take over to get things back on track. We are always happy to discuss your ongoing case.
Do you help with selling property and getting the money home?
Yes. We manage the entire process, from valuation and buyer checks to the sale agreement and the safe, legal transfer of funds to your home country.
How much experience do you have with cases like mine?
Since 2000, we have handled over 40,000 matters for global Indians, from simple property checks to complex family disputes, across India. Our track record speaks for itself.
How do I pay you from abroad?
We are set up to receive fees from clients overseas through straightforward, compliant channels, and we will explain exactly how before you commit. You do not need an Indian bank account to work with us.
Do you help with taxes and planning a will?
Yes. We help you plan your estate and stay compliant with Indian tax rules, including capital gains and PAN requirements. As a cross-border advisory practice, we understand more than one jurisdiction and coordinate across them.
Do I need to coordinate with Indian banks or government offices?
Not at all. We handle the correspondence and paperwork with banks, registrars and government departments on your behalf. We are your single point of contact.

Your peace of mind starts here.
